Neuenstadt, 25.2.2025 - Under the motto "Smart Intralogistics Solutions", Kardex is presenting a wide range of innovations for sustainable, efficient and ergonomic intralogistics at the LogiMAT 2025 (March 11 to 13). Highlights include the Vertical Lift Module with a new, intuitive user interface and a high-performance service lift for stacker cranes in high-bay warehouses. Also new is the cloud-based Power Pick Cloud software, which frees users from the limitations of traditional software. Visitors will also be able to walk through complete picking processes with the Apple Vision Pro and see for themselves what innovative picking could look like in the future. With the Wearable Task Assistant, Kardex presents a solution that guides warehouse workers step-by-step through the respective process. The Intuitive Picking Assistant developed by Kardex takes the picking processes of AutoStore solutions to a new level. Kardex will be presenting these and other highlights in Hall 1, Booth H49. In the presentation "The Future of Picking" on March 12 at 14:30 (Forum Nord, Hall 7), Christian Schmiedhofer (Head of Product Portfolio) will provide information on the latest trends in order picking.
Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the Vertical Lift Module Kardex Shuttle with its new, intuitive user interface. They can see for themselves how fast and easy picking can be. The new operating concept with extended options not only increases productivity, but also simplifies operation and reduces training and familiarization requirements.
At the Kardex booth, Kardex will be demonstrating its expertise in high-bay warehouses, small parts handling and the interaction between pallets and bins. An animation will illustrate how efficiently Kardex stacker cranes interact with the Kardex MDynamic bin storage system and solutions from AutoStore and Rocket Solution. It shows the path of a pallet from the high-bay warehouse via the conveyor system to the ergonomic workstation where the required items are picked into an AutoStore bin. Different solutions for pallet-to-bin picking and fully automated processes with robots are demonstrated.
Kardex presents an innovative service lift that has been specially developed for troubleshooting at height on stacker cranes in high-bay warehouses. This service lift eliminates the need for technicians to climb ladders, especially in cold storage and oxygen restricted areas. The lift also ensures faster troubleshooting, shorter system downtime and greater safety for maintenance personnel. Kardex is one of the leading suppliers of automated high-bay warehouses in the deep-freeze sector.
A separate area of the booth will provide information on Kardex's comprehensive Live Cycle Service portfolio. A special focus this year will be on remote maintenance via Kardex Connect and the use of augmented reality in the event of a malfunction. Visitors will learn how these solutions can reduce the number of on-site service calls. Visitors will also learn how they can use Kardex Analytics to keep an eye on all the key performance data of their storage system.
With Power Pick Cloud, Kardex presents another innovation in the software sector. This revolutionary software suite simplifies daily tasks and processes in the warehouse. The focus is on user-friendliness in classic applications such as order processing, picking and warehouse management - without getting bogged down in technical details.
The Intuitive Picking Assistant distinguishes Kardex as a global AutoStore partner. The innovative picking assistant works extremely efficiently and can be flexibly adapted to individual customer requirements. By projecting all relevant picking information, it guides the operator easily through the picking process. The Wearable Task Assistant, developed by Kardex in cooperation with Nimmsta, will also be on display. The wearable device makes the picking process even more efficient and ergonomic by guiding the operator step-by-step through the picking process while maximizing reliability. With features such as a hands-free scanner, pick and put information and a color-coded display on the operator's wrist, the Wearable Task Assistant reduces error rates to a minimum. Visitors will also be able to walk through a picking process with the Apple Vision Pro and gain valuable insight into the future of picking. This solution demonstrates the potential of modern technologies for the future of intralogistics.
